BriefThe role of an Anaesthetist is incredibly diverse and one of the best specialties in medicine – many don’t realise the breadth of your contribution towards our health system and patients.

We want to showcase the work you do every day, and for our website and other NZSA resources to truly reflect the diversity of our specialty and our membership!

With these goals in mind, we are excited to launch our first-ever NZSA member photo competition.

We welcome your photo entries to highlight ‘A day in the life of a New Zealand Anaesthetist.’ What makes us uniquely us working as Anaesthetists in Aotearoa?  What are the best moments of working in anaesthesia? We need photos to reflect the diversity of your roles – in theatres, clinics, research, teaching, staff meetings, engaging with colleagues, social events, downtime…

This is your opportunity to capture the essence of what being an Anaesthetist in New Zealand means to you and what it looks like. Dust off that camera or download a fabulous new camera app to your phone and get clicking! The prizes and judgingThe top three winning entries will receive prizes funded by the NZSA and our sponsors the Medical Assurance Society and Device Technologies.
