Our Work in Education
Education is one of the key pillars of the NZSA’s work. We support our members’ ongoing education and training in anaesthesia to ensure the safety and quality of postoperative care for all New Zealanders. Education Committees, such as ANZAEC and ACE, are important partners for the NZSA in promoting the education and continued professional development of our members.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)/Continuing Medical Education (CME)
In New Zealand, ANZCA is accredited by the Medical Council of New Zealand to set continuing professional development (CPD) standards for all specialist anaesthetists in New Zealand.
