New PHARMAC consultation - committees

PHARMAC have released a consultation to improve how their advisory committees work (Pharmacology and Therapeutics Advisory Committee and the sub-committees that sit under it, including analgesic).

PHARMAC have released a consultation to improve how their advisory committees work (PTAC and the sub-committees that sit under it, including analgesic). The goal is to improve how these committees provide advice to PHARMAC around medicines and consumer experiences. The changes aim to:

  • enable consumers to share their perspectives and advice formally, through the committees (including PTAC)
  • enhance the diversity of the committees
  • strengthen health equity knowledge within the committees.
